BRAZIL: the Book of Acts continues!

In October I was able to go to Porto Alegre, Brazil, with Global Awakening. We partnered with two different churches that have a passion to see the lost saved , the sick healed and believers equipped to move in signs and wonders for the glory of God.

So the team, about 80 of us including a couple of my friends from New Hampshire, each morning and night we  were the ministry team after Randy Clark or another GA leader spoke. We would pray for people the rest of the night mostly for physical sickness.Here is the report Global sent to me. There were 6,644 attendees , 782 physical healings , including blind, deaf, tumors, metal healings,  60 salvations ,55 rededications, 394 emotional healings !

My favorite night was the last night. God was moving powerfully. As I walked around the crowd of people getting prayer I noticed a young girl weeping. As a couple of us prayed, God began to do a deep work in her heart. She eventually curdled up on the floor weeping as God was setting her free of past lies and occult ties. She ended up giving her life to the Lord and experienced the freedom that comes with encountering the Father's love through the power of His Holy Spirit. When she got up she was smiling, joyful and glowing with God's presence.

There were so many stories like this every morning and night. Many were so touched by God's love as He healed their bodies and hearts. There was even a lady who had a glass eye with no vision who received her sight back and took her glass eye out because part of her eye grew back! I'm still in shock and amazed by God's power and love I saw displayed on the trip. It has only deepened my longing to see God use me and all believers to fulfill the great commission, seeing disciples being made in all nations with signs and wonders following as we step out in faith proclaiming the good news fearlessly.                       HE IS FAITHFUL -- HE IS GOOD. ALWAYS

 

God's provision !

Thanks to all of you who have supported me , prayed and just loved on me in so many ways ! ALL my money has come in that will take me through the school and even people who have pledged to help me when I first get home to help me get on my feet. Whether that is to start over in the USA or to prepare to go back over seas again.Of course I will keep you all posted:) I have been brought to tears many times at the generosity of so many those I am close to and those that I have just met :) Thank you again may God bless you with abundance !!

  While being here : I have been able to share at some different churches and home groups and although nervous each time saw God really show up and bless people with a new touch of His love!! Each time I felt sooooo blessed and also touched by God presence !! It's amazing how taking risks and doing things that are uncomfortable at first can create some amazing experiences and become so worth it !! My favorite parts of these speakings was getting to all pray for each other and feeling God's presence !
 My favorite part of being at my families and seeing my friends is the new level of peace that is here it really seems that God is bringing us all into a new place of intimacy with Him and a place of new beginnings for loving other in a greater ways!! I am so excited to come back home and see how God has changed us all and how we will get to serve God more, love people more , and how He has healed us more freed us more and drawn us closer to Him than ever before !!! Yaaaa !!
  Next : I am finishing my packing today and flying out to NH to see my  good friends Marissa and Joel
and then flying out of New York all the way to Pemba Mozambique to begin this amazing adventure of falling more in love with Jesus and learning to love like him :)  I will arrive in Pemba Oct 2nd but fly out on Sept 30th !!! I hope that I will be able to post pictures from there but may not have access :(

YOU ALL GO WITH ME: You will be in my heart and prayers !! I would love to hear from you all about how you are as I will miss you !! I may not be able to call you or write a ton but I can still read your e-mails and pray for you :) Then i will hug you forever when I get back :)

Aug and Sept updates !!

 Hi !! For those of you who have already been on my facebook updates then scroll down for NEW updates since you have already read the paragraphs below :)

 Hi Friends and Family I recently got accepted to a 3 month school with Iris Ministries in Mozambique Africa !!! They have a huge ministry with orphans all around the world. This is a dream come true for me ! AFRICA: Through much prayer I know that God has called me to go back to Africa! I ...have been waiting 5 years for Him to say it was time to go back! My vision has been to work with an organization that ministers God’s love to orphans in such a way that they are set free and healed from pain of war, abuse, the streets and losing their parents, but now are filled with joy and courage to be all that God has created them to be!!

 This describes Iris Ministries! Iris Ministries heart is for the poor and unwanted they have 5,000 churches in Mozambique and surrounding area’s and take care of over 2,000 abandoned children at their centers.
The Iris Harvest School of Missions begins on October 8 and I have been accepted for their three-month course. This course will help to equip me to minister Jesus’ love to the poorest of the poor. I’m especially excited to be with the orphans who I will live with!
It also includes and extended evangelistic outreaches in local bush areas where there is no running water, electricity, and no place for showers. All our drinking water has to be bought and carried there. We will live in an outdoor campground setting, living right where the people are, especially the children.
Tuition will include communal housing , a diet of African cuisine, mostly rice, beans, potatoes, fish and goat. There is a store where I will need to buy my own toilet paper, candles and matches for times when the power goes out, personal toiletries and snacks. Drinking water will cost me $60-$70 a month. I will also need to purchase travelers insurance and of course many other items. Total that I still need is $1,5000.

 FINANCIAL PARTNER: So far through so many of your generous gifts my tuition and plane tickets ,visa and some supplies have been bought !!  Praise God !! What is left to raise : 1,500 this is for many supplies I will need while there and ones i still need to buy before I go .

SEPT 10th 2010:
   I said goodbye with tears , hugs , dancing laughing , great prayers and great food !!I felt very loved and cared for as I was sent off by my friends in Portland OR . THANKS GUYS!! I cried many times in worship overwhelmed by the friends he had blessed me with in Portland and also all those out there who I know have been praying for me faithfully! So much of these blessings have come through your prayers !! I know God will bless you ten fold !!! My Dad and I ( Brother Tony ) :) drove through California praying , singing , crying and Laughing !!!! I got to see an amazing friend and my god daughter so fun!! I am staying with my family rite now , mama Margaret , Papito ( bro tony)  my sister Sabrina and my cute nephew Aden who live on a farm with horses and where I can see the stars at night! This time has been a place of rest where I have been able to spend more time with God who has been preparing my heart for what He has planned for me in Mozambique. So far I feel like he is saying that It will be SO fun, he will be giving me more of his heart to love the poor see him in the face of suffering , know his love for me in a deeper way, become more bold and less ashamed of living and preaching his gospel , learning to practice the authority that I have as his daughter , that he will supply all my needs and I will abandon more of what holds me back from his fullness !!! Ok sounds good to me! Of course I get nervous when I start to think about things like malaria or over grown rats but then that's when I cry out to God and he gives me peace , yes I will take all the prayers I can get ! 
 THIS WEEK : I am reading psalm 91  ,Ephesians  , Always Enough by : Heidi and Rolland Baker ( iris ministries ) Having a going away party, giving lot's of hugs to loved ones, practice packing and setting up my tent ( making shure it all fits.) speaking at a bible studies and  churches about God giving us the desires of our heats and what he has done in my life , missing  my PDX family  and so much more! I just want to say how blessed I am by each of you and knowing you all go with me in spirit has brought me so much peace and joy that has made such a difference !!! Please write me let me know how you are whats new with you !!!! Ok now I am going to try to post pictures and pay pal on this blog!! Wish me good luck !!!
